Should parents be allowed to take the lead for their kids with fund raising?

My husband and I find entertainment in selling shit for our sons school fund raisers. My son is 1, his daycare is selling chocolate from a local candy store for a fund raiser. My husband and I have already filled two order forms and sold $715 of candy 😏 I’m not sure what we’re even fun raising for. But we are in it to win it. I hope he gets a prize for being top seller 🥇🏆🎖🏅
