High BP and stomach bruising after delivery

since the birth of our daughter my blood pressure has been high. It was 159/113 yesterday at my 1 week check up at the hospital. today it was 159/99 at my Dr's office. They said it could be postpartum pre-eclampsia, but I have to go back next week to have my blood pressure rechecked. anyone else dealing with this or have in the past? is there anything I can do to help get my pressure down? I also have bruising all over the bottom half of my stomach that appeared after delivery. I'm not sure if the two problems are related in anyway, but I do know my stomach hurts. There is more bruising off to the side that I couldn't get into the picture. I'm hoping I'm not alone with this problem. I never experienced anything like this when I had my boys.
