Spotting/period a few weeks ago now no period?

So earlier this month I had some cramping and light bleeding, I wasn’t sure if it was my period or spotting since I accidentally took my birth control a few hours later than usual. Because now I just finished up my placebo week of my pack and my period has still yet to come... so I’m not sure if my period somehow came earlier than usual? Or if I messed up my pills and there’s a chance my period isn’t coming for a reason?
