6 weeks and sick as a dog. Any advice?

I am 6 weeks today and I am so sick. The thought of food or even water makes me feel like I am going to throw up. I am a little dizzy and just feel all around sick. What do you ladies do to combat morning sickness and other unwelcome symptoms? This is my first pregnancy,  so this is all so new to me.

Try saltine crackers with Ginger Ale. I also tried the sea bands but didn't help too much...good luck

Saltines and ginger ale. Also, sea bands, ginger pills. Bland foods like toast, Apple sauce, and bananas. Also, call your ob and see what else can help.

I threw the question out to Facebook and got some great answers I tried yesterday. Sea Bands appear to help (but they are a little painful sometimes), even if it's just the placebo effect. I also had good things from peppermint candies and the preggie pop candies. I bought a bunch of Powerade because any calorie is a good one at this point, when I've mostly been drinking lemon water. I also asked people what foods didn't gross them out, and the answers were all over the spectrum. I decided to go to the grocery store and walk around, just seeing what didn't disgust me.

Lemon helps me tremendously. Start with lemon tea and then you can slowly introduce more nutrition

Are you actually vomiting? If you are and it's excessive youbcan get medication. Stops you throwing up but unfortunately you still feel sick x
