Should the line be darker?

My period is late by 8 days now, i don't have many symptoms only mildly sore breasts and tiredness (I was feeling nauseous last week)
My point is, should I be worried? I was told the line should be getting darker but for 8 days passed my missed period the test line looks pretty faint 😪😞 just hoping everything is ok...

The first line that is darker is the test line. The second one is the control line. If you’re urine has a lot of HCG hormone it makes the test line stronger than the control. This is fine.

I found out I was pregnant 9dpo. So one week before I was due for my cycle. My first test had a faint line. But i tested over a weeks time frame and on the last one, this happened to me also. You’re just really pregnant, as the other ladies have mentioned. Your levels would have to be pretty high to pull dye from the control line. Yay! Breathe! 1. 9dpo am 2. 9dpo pm 3. 11dpo 4. 15dpo 5. 22dpo (8days late)

The testing line is the darker line. No way for it to get any darker than it is right now it's already taking all the color from the control line.
