premature ???

so I have seen storys of little ones coming to early into this world. was wondering anything u can do to have a baby stay in longer?? unless a medical reason how come some do come early?? everything is good with my pregnancy bit worry some times want to make it has long as possible. my son came at 37 weeks  I don't consider that really that early.

Nothing you can really do. Baby comes when baby is ready. Sometimes it’s before full term sometimes it’s after. I worried about miscarrying, then once i hit 24 weeks I just wanted to make it to 37... now I’m 37 weeks and I’m just ready for him to come lol.
Just take it week by week. The fact that your first cake at 37 I wouldn’t worry much (37 weeks is considered full term)

There’s really nothing you can do. Baby will come when ready! 37 weeks is considered early term, 39 weeks is full term. Those 2 weeks the lungs are still developing but I’ve had plenty of preterm/early term babies do great.

Some come early for absolutely no reason (my son). Some come early due to medical issues for Mom or baby. All you can really do is attend all your prenatal visits, eat a healthy diet, and follow your doctors recommendations for activity and medical care. And sometimes, even if you do all those things, you still have a preemie. 37 week is early, but not dangerously so. Most doctors don’t consider you high risk of a second preemie unless you delivered before 36 weeks.
