Two weeks old

My sweet baby girl is 2 weeks old today. Two weeks that she’s been in NICU. Two weeks that I’ve prayed every day for her health and strength. Two weeks that I’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster. Two weeks that my heart has ached every time I leave without her in my arms. Two weeks that I’ve avoided people because I don’t want to have to explain to them why I’m not pregnant anymore yet I don’t have my baby. Two weeks that I’d wish this was happening to me and not her.
