Ovulation help ttc #2

So can anyone explain what’s going on with me? I have a 35 day cycle and have just decided to start tracking, I ovulate normally around day 21 and currently on day 25 of my cycle so period is due in 10 days! I have been taking these daily from cd 10 but have only kept the ones that have a visible line, the bottom three are all from today, first one was done at about 1pm second (I think invalid) done at about 3 and third done about 7pm. However, the darkest line I have got is not even as dark as the control line, but quite close, then a few hours later back to faint again! I’m guessing I haven’t ovulated this month! I’ve heard lots of women say thy got pregnant without a strong positive but I’m not sure... there is a definitive surge going on but I’ve had mild pains (normally quite distinctive) and no obvious cm.... I’ve never not ovulated before... I’m going to keep testing but with AF getting closer and closer I’m thinking it’s not likely 😩
