I don’t think this is an appropriate question. 
You’re asking people to qualify other people based on their understanding (or not understanding) and acceptance (or not) of a specific relationship dynamic. 
A more productive question would be focused on what people’s opinions are of various dynamics (monogamous vs open vs polyamory) ... but not to judge their opionion of the people involved.

I'm polyamorous myself! I love being polyam, and it doesn't come in my way, or the way of my relationship. I would never do anything behind my girlfriend's back. What being polyam means to me, is that I have a lot of love in my heart to give. It's not that I have to have more partners, it's just that I can. I can love my partners equally. I am currently in a monogamous relationship, and I am happy. I don't NEED another partner, but if I do, I will still be happy. It is just a matter of if I fall in love with someone else or not.
