We have been struggling a bit. There have been a few rough situations on top of the general new baby stress that we’ve experienced and it makes it even harder. The stress seems to make us more irritable and prone to fighting. I’m hoping we can get better soon.😕

Both. I get more fed up with him and he gets more irritated with me, and we hardly ever have time just the two of us, but at the same time it feels like our bond is stronger and all that is just superficial. I guess it's just growing pains

😐 Almost divorced him in the beginning because of all the stuff that was going on between him and I with the added MIL issues. Basically he wasn't helping me with the baby AT ALL and then any time something went wrong he would get really angry at me and blame me. Then when MIL issues started getting really bad he was blaming that on me too. We separated and saw a marriage councler a few months ago. Since then things have been so much better 😃 he helps and doesn't blame me for stuff that happens any more. MIL decided that she doesn't want her son, my son, or me in her life any more, but that is okay. So far so good and I now feel closer to him than I ever have before 💜

Wow! Thank you ladies for your comments! It’s scary and amazing what a baby can go to a couple. The tests that are brought up define who we truly are I guess. If that makes sense. 
My relationship has its days. The day I posted this, I was soooooooo done with him. I was second guessing everything. But I took a deep breath and I relaxed. Before we got pregnant, We were this amazing couple that NEVER fought. Ever. We had nothing to fight about. The only thing we fought about, when I was pregnant, was when he’d leave me to go to his friends lol. And now? We’re both impatient and more exhausted than ever. But we’ll get thru it because it’s only a rough part, it’s temporary, for us.

No sex and very distant even though we are always together. We used to be very affectionate but these days, I can't handle being touched so that makes things worse.

Ugh. I HATED my husband. Hated him. Couldn't stand him being anywhere near me... then I realized it was all the hormones and tried thinking before speaking and lashing out. Also tried to understand his way of doing things, which helped a lot. I think a lot of it was jealousy and resentment as I had to go back to work when our son was 2 months old and he stays home with him during the day because he works nights. The jealousy is definitely still there, but the hating him has gone away. I love him again, 6 months later. We still have our issues, but we're getting back to our old selves. It was really bad for the past 6 months to where I didn't think we would survive our son's first year together. I thought for sure we were going to be divorced or in the process of getting divorced by now. But, nope. We're good now lol

Both definitely. It is very hard to balance new baby and our relationship but at the same time we are going through something new that brings us closer.
