pain during/after sex

Okay ladies, my boyfriend loves sex, like wants it all the time, up to 8x in one day, (don't get me wrong I do too, but sometimes I need a day off). Has anyone ever had sex so much that it literally hurts during sex and causes some burning when you urinate (think lemon juice in a fresh cut)? He thinks it's just a superficial tear, and I called my Dr and they can't get me in to see me for another 3 weeks.. just not Sure if I should be concerned.. ****update**** I've had plenty of UTIs in my life to know what one feels like, I am positive that's not it, partially because I take a medicine daily to help prevent them, and partially because I can hold it, and anyone that has ever had a UTI knows that is not possible.
