Master bedroom nursery?

Question

My son will be sleeping in my bedroom for the first few months. We have a bassinett for him but not much else in the master bedroom. 
What should I have in there?
All of his clothes and diapers are in his nursery right now.

That’s all we’re having in our bedroom...just her bassinet. 
I bought a little space saver storage box to have a few diapers and wipes just in case I’m too tired/lazy to go across the hall in to her nursery to change her.

our nursery is upstairs and or master downstairs so baby girl will be with us for at least the first 6 months. I have her crib, glider and changing table/dresser in my master bedroom that way I won't have to keep going up and down to get stuff. if your babies nursery is on the same level as you though I would say just somewhere for them to sleep and a little diaper caddy and changing pad for quick changes would probably be all you need.

The suggest you don’t change the baby’s diaper at night unless they’ve had a bowel movement. Most of my friends with newborns have only had to change their baby’s diaper a handful of times in the first 6 months of life anyways so I will just keep everything but the bassinet in her room.

We only have sisters bassinet and a small basket of diapers, rash cream, wipes, & an extra change of clothes for baby on my nightstand

We will just have her pack n play and stuff for diaper changes. Her room is next to ours but she will eventually be sharing a room with her older brother. My husband has shared custody of him so we don’t have him every week.

I am also making a place for diaper/changing items and any breast feeding supplies we may need.
