Question

So how do you guys feel about an absent parent disciplining your child(ren)??? Absent meaning seeing the child three times in three months!! I don't like the idea of one physically disciplining a child who he or she haven't been around, bonded with, supported, and etc. Some may think it's fine, but I personally don't like it!

Its no go for me. I say be there or be square. If you are not around to properly teach a child the right and wrong things to do, provide, support and protect him or her, you should not be spanking them.

From the other perspective you should not let the child do whatever the hell they want with no discipline just because you only see them once a month.

yeah, it’s gonna be a no from me. if you don’t actively include yourself in a child’s life then you don’t have the power to discipline them either.
