Menstrual cups! Advice? Experience?

I am considering getting a menstrual cup
HOWEVER 
I need some like reviews haha 
Where do you get them? 
How are they in comparison to tampons? 
Have they really made your period better?

my sister gets hers online and she absolutely loves it. it can stay in longer and if you forget it a little longer then usual theres no risk like with tampons and you dont even feel it! easy clean up to.

I started using mine at age 22 (I'm 27 now). I heard about them in college and was grossed out. Shortly after I looked back into the period cups. Ordered it online. Made the mistake of first using it the week of my period. I highly suggest a 'dry run', which is a practice round before your period. Get used to how it feels when it's open/closed, see if it is comfortable.
I have very light flows and it wasn't terrible starting out. I suggest a panty liner the first couple times using it. Figure out what you are comfortable with when and where you 'dump' it out. Since I don't bleed heavily, I can be pickier about where I clean myself up at.
I'll be honest, nothing is better than tampons (my opinion). Tampons are reliable and don't move and are so easy. Little clean up, etc. However....the period cup not only saves a ton of money, but it makes more sense when caring for your body.

Any girls got any tips for getting it in properly? I bought one last year and just trying to get it past my pubic bone really hurt but I want to use it.

They are sold right where the other feminine products are. 
I used softcups which are disposable versus others that you have to wash but can reuse and potentially save money. They are 50x better than tampons, in my opinion. 
I also find them much more comfortable. I feel like tampons are never sitting “right” with me. 
I do recommend two things: read reviews for different ones off amazon to make your choice. The first cycle you use them, wear a panty liner. It took me a whole cycle to get the positioning “just right” so I had the occasional spot or two (no more than when I used tampons). Like all products there is a learning phase, but I seriously love them!

Got mine at the drug store (shoppers drugmart) wish I bought one sooner. Never worry about leaks which used to be a big issue for me. I highly recommend. I'd even swim with sharks with one of those bad boys in. I won't lie though, it is kinda nasty dumping it but I know others that feel better seeing how everything is flushing and the amount. Just make sure you get the right size. One size is if you never had kids or if you had kids/ in your 30s. I use the DivaCup brand.
