Heavy cycle/mini pill

Anybody else having an abnormally heavy cycle after pregnancy? Not only are they more heavy than pre-pregnancy, they’re also lasting longer and happening closer together. First period came back around 8 weeks postpartum. And have had 2 more since and on my third just after having one 2 weeks ago. I am exclusively breastfeeding and on the mini pill. Am almost 4 months postpartum. Could the mini pill be doing this?
