My chunky monkey is finally here 😍 (Long story)

After getting a cervical check for my 40 week appt (70% effaced, fingertip dilated 🙄) We discussed an induction date and went for a NST that was fine. After the test, I started having pretty strong contractions. I thought it was just my cervix being irritated from the check. Until they started to come VERY frequently, about 2-8 minutes apart starting around 1 pm, I tried drinking water and laying down, getting in the bath tub nothing worked 😫 So I decided to continue to count them and labor at home as much as possible. I called my doctor when the contractions were consistently 4 mins apart and I couldn’t talk through them. She said to go in. When me and the hubby got to L&D; around 11pm the contractions were so painful but I was only a centimeter dilated 😩🙄 but they kept me because my contractions were so consistent and painful. I got a room in L&D; and labored until about 5am. It was awful 😫😫 but I wanted to at least get to 5cm without getting an epidural. They used the Foley ball to help me get to 5 because I wasn’t dilating on my own. So at 5cm I got the epidural and they started pitocin to get my contractions regular. After 8 hours there was NO CHANGE and baby boy was not reacting well to the pitocin so my OB brought up c section. I tried to talk her into letting me go some more but she insisted that baby boy was in distress . So from there things moved VERY fast and my husband and I were suited and booted and to meet our baby boy about 35 minutes later. I had an AWFUL reaction in the OR (shakes, nausea, blurred vision, and I could barely keep my eyes opens) but it was all worth it when we met our little big man 😂 He was 8lbs 13oz 19 inches long and he’s already breastfeeding like a champ 🙌🏾 Afterwards the doctor said there was no way I would have been about to push him out 🤷🏽‍♀️ Either way I’m somebody’s Mama now 😍 Logan Anthony your Mommy and Daddy will love you forever you’ve changed our entire lives 😍❤️
