UTI at 5.5 weeks pregnant?

I've had UTIs before when I wasn't pregnant. I think I remember someobe saying if you feel like you have one while pregnant you should call your doctor. That it could lead to miscarriage. Is this true? Should I call?

Yes definitely call your doctor to be treated but it's nothing to worry about.  I had 2 UTIs in my first trimester

I have been treated for a UTI twice during pregnancy. They did tell me that with the level of bacteria they detected that they would normally let it clear up in its own but since I was pregnant they treated it because it could cause preterm labour.
