Anything to know or prepare before having a D&C;?
Anything post surgery?

I don’t know how far along you are but one thing that I was not prepared for after my D&c; for my retained placenta was my breast milk coming in. The doctors did not mention that to me. Other than that I had no pain just some period like bleeding for about a week.

Some cramping and pain. You need to just rest afterwards, and staying hydrated, taking pain meds if they give them to you. I would just sleep.

I was just crampy. Took the pain meds they gave. It was more emotional pain than physical. Good luck.

You really don't need to do much. Just follow whatever instructions they give you. I felt totally fine as soon as I woke up.
