Miscarriage?

Question

How many days after a miscarriage can you have sex ? I’m not trying to rush it, just want to be sure everything will be okay first.

I was told whenever I felt ready. I got pregnant two weeks after my miscarriage. I just had our sweet baby girl January 29th, 2018!

I waited until after one complete cycle, just a personal choice. I do have a great aunt who miscarried and 2 weeks later found out she was pregnant with her, now in 30s, daughter... so I'm guessing she didn't wait long at all 😄

My doctor told me to wait until I have a period again, that way we’d be able to date the pregnancy.

I waitress until my levels went back down and started my period again before trying. My doctor wanted to wait on my levels to go down but said statistically there is no proof that waiting a certain amount of time or not waiting is good or bad. Waiting on a period just gives you something to help track it.

My doctor told me to wait until the bleeding stopped, but I would check with your doctor to make sure you don't have any lower medical reasons to wait. I got pregnant withing a couple of weeks of my miscarriage last April. I gave birth to a healthy baby girl on January 2nd.

It depends. I have lost 2 and both times had a D&C.; The first time they said to wait 2 weeks. The second time we waited until I stopped bleeding just a day or so shy of two weeks.
