Am I protected?

Ok so I was using the Xulane patch for like 2 months(2 packs) but during my second pack i noticed my skin reacting bad to it, so during my off week i switch to the Aviane bc pills. I started them the day i was supposed to start my next set of patches. Am I protected or should i wait awhile? Also, Ive been taking them for a week now.

I asked my doctor this question and she told me that taking different bc so close together like that will confuse ur body. Different chemicals. So I would wait. Also I use the patch and I get that irritating itch and redness in the spot of my patch so I just put it in a different spot the next time and give that spot a rest. Maybe u should try that instead of switching bc
