My mom fought for me to get into a gyno at 15 after I had lost my virginity. I wanted to be protected and had questions my mom didn't want/know how to answer. Been going to the same doctor for a decade. She was there through my miscarriages later on, my pregnancy, my birth (well the 2 week follow up), and now for bc again.

My first time seeing a gynecologist was in June of last year.
I was 20 at the time, I’m 21 now. 
I actually went to see her because my pregnancy test came back positive (Ob/gyn). Otherwise I probably would have gone longer before seeing one, honestly.
