I really need advice!!! please read!!

I have never taken honors math and this year I thought what the heck! Last semester I had a C+ which is a pretty good grade considering that my teacher is the worst. We are in 8th grade doing 9th AND 10th grade common core math. literally common crap 🙄

Everyone basically teaches themselves and almost everyone has a tutor even if they have an A. I have a tutor but she's always busy with other clients. & I have been super stressed bc I often feel like there's no point bc I'm in 8th grade taking a college prep class.

I failed the first 2 tests this semester and my science test score was not very good. I can retake for both classes but I don't understand how I can raise my math grade when the only thing you can do to raise your grade is a retake which is an average of both scores. (He doesn't count the retake if it's lower than your first score.) last year I had an A+ in (non honors) math. I haven't decided if I want to take horrors math in high school mostly because I am an over thinker and I will stress myself out thinking how will I ever get into my dream college if I'm not taking AP or Honors!? sorry this was so long and dramatic.
