Been having miscarriage for a month

I need to know if this is normal... Jan 6 I was spotting and it was confirmed I had misscarried at the ER. Jan 8 I was given misoprostal to help with the miscarriage so it could induce cramping. 2 days later I passed the fetus and 1 palm sized clot. I went to the hospital the following Monday for a checkup and had to take misoprostal again because I still had a lot of tissue trapped inside. The following Monday after that I had to take it AGAIN because of the tissue. Now I just went back this past Monday and they wanted me to take it again and I refused too because each time I take it it stops my bleeding for a few days then I pass 1 or 2 big clots and then that’s it. So far today without the pills I’ve passed 3 palm sized clots. I’ve literally been bleeding for a month! Has ANYONE been through this?!?!

UPDATE !!!!!!!

After now, 3 months of bleeding I finally found an OBGYN who agrees that I need a d&c.; My HCG is at zero and the bleeding hasn’t changed much , also a clot is stuck and my cervix is closed.
