A quick testimony. 
When I was 18 years old due to circumstances at home I was forced to live on my own. I had moved into my first apartment, with all my kitchen supplies, and pullout couch to sleep on. It was a comfy little place and things were going okay for the most part. 
One day, everything started to fall apart. I lost my car, my job, and I was facing an eviction. My family would also turn their back to me at this time. The devil was constantly reminding me of how I would "lose" everything. 
I felt alone, and embarrassed that I had reached so low. Everytime I would go to church and question him the slightest, God would answer me by responding to me this verse "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up" Psalms 27:10
In some occasions I was brought forward and God would speak to me personally and/or before the church and confirm with this same verse. Every time I would lose a job, there would be a brand new job opportunity waiting for me, my car situation had gotten resolved, and I was able to leave my apartment without any problems and nothing put on my record, even with breaking the lease 2 months early. I had somewhere to stay and food to eat.
A few months after, I got married to my Husband and we are now expecting our first baby at 20 years old. I asked God why I had to go through what I went through and this is what he told me... 
"The enemy may want to take away everything you have thats materialistic, he can take away what you may think is everything.... But he cannot take away your faith. You may have lost everything but with your faith you have gained everything" 
With this being said, there will be times when we feel as though our entire world's are falling apart, and we feel at our weakest. This is just a little sneak peak at what God has done for me, but it's no where near close to ALL that he has done. He has showed me one on one how it is to have my faith tested and how to live by faith, when everything else is tearing you down. It was a particularly hard time for me as I also had other things going on but because of the Grace of God my husband and I are standing strong today. I hope my testimony has impacted someone in some kind of way.

the enemy will try to pursue us and manipulate like he did with Eve. Let us look to Christ, Who is the Perfector and is the only One that overcame the enemy and has gone before us. He made a way, and only through Him can he intercede on our behalf to God, our Father. I grew up from a Hindu background but never felt right about idols and the temples. God had instilled in me (before I even knew) that it wasn't "Truth". I always felt uncomfortable and eerie going to temples and bringing goods to the idols because I was raised in the orphanage at the time. When I FINALLY was adopted at age 9 to live in the states, I learned of the True God. But it wasn't ever an easy transition, moving from culture to the next or going from being an orphan to having a single mother. It was a battle for years, before I truly decided to follow Christ. There was a lot of hate, anger, bitterness from both worlds. one world, I was rejected by own blood, and by another, I didn't know how to accept being loved or wanted by a lady that didn't give me birth. Growing up in the states, I gave my now accepted mother HELL, which she wasn't prepared, but I remember who she ran to for strength, patience, and even cried her heart out to (Christ). I felt at times I was being forced from one religion to another and by teen years I was having identity crisis and struggled some in the schools in U.S. I faced racism by whites (yet I was "sold" to a white woman). Sometime in my mid teen I eventually accepted Christ around Easter, but the battle wasn't easy to trail through. My relationship with Christ was intermittent for the most part and I didn't get serious til later on. I dated different kinds of men, black, white, what have you. I wasn't a virgin when I married. But anyhow, I became more serious about Christ after God pulled me through all my challenges, like being put on meds when I shouldn't have been, and restoring me mentally. that's the sad thing about U.S. people are so reliant on drugs than God! other challenges were sexual immorality, and my relationship with my mom and general trust in men (didn't grow up with father figure). When I found my true identity in Christ (not biological family), that is when I found my worth. God gradually revealed His plans and unfold my dreams through the years. like, being married to another being like myself (asian), and creating family of my own I can be complete with, like having that blood relation to another human (like my now son, and baby on the way). Not only the good Lord fulfilled so many miracles, even before I knew, but also when I found Him! My heart is ever so filled with gratitude and less of past sorrows, all because of Christ, and what He did and continues to do in my personal life, and what He did in advance for me, by dying on the Cross at Calvary! Christ is the REAL joy giver! Not our wishes or things can ever or should fill the void, but Christ alone!
