How do you feel about being a parent?

NO HATE IN THE COMMENTS. This is just out of curiosity and for research on a paper I’m writing for a college class. I just want to know how you feel being a parent or if you chose not to be one. Everyone says parenthood changes a person, but not always in the best way.

so I'm a young mother. I'm 20 and I have a ten month old. I honestly regret having a baby. I don't regret my son, I love him so much but it was the wrong time. I'm more broke than I've ever been and having been diagnosed with PPD tops it off. a baby has put a lot of stress on my husband and mines relationship.

parenting is beautiful and wonderful but it's hard. when you realise you've been talking to the person on the phone in baby-garble you realise how lonely it is.
It's so lonely. At the moment, he does not talk. he tries, but he doesn't. so I'm sitting there all day with just a ten month old. no real conversations. I find myself bursting in to tears when my son is napping. because I love him so much but I never wanted to do this the way it's been done.i wanted to be able to give him the life he deserves.
