Brand of pregnancy test

So I used the Walmart brand the 0.97 ones and all were negative.i don't know if those really work because I was like the lines were bleeding everywhere. I mean the color. Is it a junk test when it does that? For my 1st child I used a first response and first text came out positive. I just figure I buy the cheap ones since we've been trying and always getting negatives. But I just want to know what u guys think are the best test to use?
