Subchorionic hemorrhage

I am 6 weeks 3 days and yesterday had a scare. I started bleeding bright red blood, i made an apt with the obgyn and had labs done. My hcg came back at 39,100. The doctor did an ultrasound and low and behold.. a baby! And.. a heartbeat! 120 bpm. She said that I was experiencing a subchorionic hemorrhage but that it was very small.. almost immeasurable? I asked if it had the potential to get worse and she said yes I'll just have to "wait it out".

I didnt get the reassurance i was looking for really. Other than her saying it could clear up. Anyone else have this? It's terrifying. I hate not having any control. It makes me bummed that my little bean is so strong and healthy but this hemorrhage could be detrimental:(
