any other hospitals??

went to my 20 w ultrasound with an added transvaginal ultrasound due to pressure we keep having. i asked the tech if everything was okay with Oliver she literally said well according to policy we can not tell you. this is my third and my first two babies they told me stuff :( anyone elses hospitals do this?? now we gotta wait and hope doctor calls tomorrow on a FRIDAY for some peace of mind.

totally normal. she could tell me the sex and that was it.

They really can’t say anything. I had a blighted ovum and the tech didn’t say a thing. I knew something was off because of her weird small talk, but she was very friendly. It sucks, but that’s how it goes.

wow that's weird. the people doing the us told me every time what they saw ( even when it was nothing as in no sac etc)

Basically it isn't her job because if she tells you something is wrong and she os wrong you can sue her. 
Also the most likely thing could be your baby dropped but there are other things like placental abruption, or preterm labor. But that isnt likely.

They can't tell you anything. They just take the measurements and images and the scan is sent to the radiologist to read and the report will be sent to your doctor.

It may depend on the practice. Mine told me things were looking good, but that the doctor would have the final say. I can see a lot of places telling their US techs to not say anything for liability issues.

i just dont understand how some women know the weight and everything right after appt?
