Adult Acne and Clarisonic

I finally saw my dermatologist this morning - I'm 32 and still get acne and blackheads, it drives me nuts! He prescribed a couple of topical washes/creams and recommended to get a Clarisonic brush. He said it's cheaper and better (in a long run) than having facials. Does anyone here use a Clarisonic brush? Do you like it? Does it help with acne problems?
