Lupus?

Question

Just got a positive ANA screen with speckled patten and a titer of 1:80, my guess would be lupus as my mother was diagnosed (and then told later they were wrong) when she was younger, not sure where to go from here, besides more testing, any advice would be appreciated

One thing I've learned from the doctors is lupus isn't hereditary. There's probably going to be more testing, if you're afraid of needles, you won't be for long. Listen to the doctors, tell them everything no matter how small. Tell them if you're having any reactions to medications that they may put you on. (I went through many before we found ones that worked for me). And definitely make sure if you get a decent medicine, you take it as directed. Know you're not alone, there is a lot of us with lupus, mine is lupus sle, so it hasn't affected my skin but instead my inner organs. Message me if you want more advice or just want to talk.
