Bump on daith?

Is this a scar or a keloid I can’t tell :( and how do I get rid of it??

My daith had a bump like that on the top of it instead of bottom. I think it’s just hypertrophic scarring. I’ve been boiling water, mixing it with a teaspoon of salt, and cleaning my ear with that and it’s gone down in 4-5 days.

I got this on both of my cartilage piercings I’ve had. I just got tea tree oil and covered it at night with the oil and it cleared up in a week or 2

It looks like an irritation bump. Cartilage piercings are prone to getting them. My daith did the same thing. Follow your after care instructions your piercer gave you and it should clear up in time. If you’re really concerned just contact the shop where you got it done it stop in and talk to the piercer. They should help with any further info you need.

i have a daith also, i had it done about 5 months ago. i had that bump for a while but once it healed it went away. you should be good :))
