How often do you do the dirty? 
I’ve been married for 3 years... when we first got married we went at it like bunnies, but a couple months later it started to die out ALOT, my husband would always say he was “tired” or “stressed” but I always feel like it’s just kinda an excuse... 
It caused a lot of issues for a few months, it really took a hit on my confidence and I would get mad because I felt unwanted. 
Fast forward to now and he Hasn’t changed, but I have. For some reason sex isn’t a priority for me anymore, I’m cool with having a glass of wine and watching another episode on Netflix instead. 
We recently started trying to conceive so we’ve been a little more active, like we’ll have sex at least once a day every day while I’m ovulating, but then MAYBE once a week other than that. (I finished ovulating 11 days ago and we haven’t since) 
And when it does happen it’s GREAT, best I’ve ever had, but for some reason this has just become the the way we are... can anyone relate? Should I just accept it or is there maybe a reason?

My SO got in a really bad car accident last spring and his back has been fucked since then. He’s almost constantly in pain, so it’s really difficult for him to get his mind off that and onto sex. If we do have sex, it’s usually pretty vanilla just because if he moves the wrong way, there’s no way anything is happening. Because of that, we have sex MAYBE 2-3 times a month.

Well if it’s bothering you, which it seems to be a little then definitely communicate that to your hubby :) and work on making your sex life more exciting! 
Personally, I’ve been with my husband for almost 8 years, married for 3.5 and we haven’t had sex since December when we got pregnant 😯 I’ve had some health issues and just been exhausted! He’s worried about us having sex too early in pregnancy (it’s sweet) but still I do feel guilty about it and want to have a better sex life. I actually told him this last night and he said he understands and then I just gave him a BJ and he was super happy after that 😂 he said just keep BJ coming while I don’t feel like having sex and he will be happy as a clam! 
Anyway though, I think it’s a normal phase a lot of couples go through, so don’t beat yourself up about it! You get stuck in a routine and after a long day of working/taking care of the house, etc, jumping my husband’s bones is not the first thing on my mind! Specially now that I’m pregnant, I’m just exhausted constantly. Be honest with husband and work together to spice things up! Also, good luck and baby dust to you!!!

Honestly my fiancé went through the same thing and I have a very high libido so I had to ask what was going on. After speaking with him he said I don’t want you to feel that way I have just been stressed. (He was going through a custody battle for his two girls) So now instead of us having sex once a week it’s like six times a week. I would say just talk to him and be spontaneous and just whip it out. 🤗

I can relate. I've been with my husband since I was 16. We got married when I was 19. I'm 25 now and expecting. It's been like that for me for a while. If I don't initiate it he won't. I have to be the one to be all over him at all times. I feel unwanted sometimes. It's as if that's not really important to him or something. It is to me, and I seriously think that he just doesn't want me like that sometimes. I start thinking that what if he's just over me in that sense. I always have to initiate it. We do it once in a blue moon. And I have to do all the work all the time. He's overweight and some positions are just a no for him. I don't know if that has something to do with it. He did bring up once that he couldn't really please me anymore since he gained weight and stopped being able to do certain positions but idk. Intimacy is a rare occurrence for me 💔 especially now that I am pregnant. It sucks because I need it all the time.

So I've been married 8 years, together 10. I can honestly say, we've gone in cycles. There's been times we don't have sex for a couple weeks, and there's been times where we have sex every night of the week. It honestly varies based upon moods, whether we're tired, sick, etc. I don't think there is a "normal" amount of sex, you just work to meet each others needs and keep communication open. If I were in your situation, I'd say something of the sort, "I know you have been tired and stressed lately, and I understand, but I really feel like I need more intimacy from you".

Every couple will eventually settle into a sex life they’re comfortable and happy with. If you are unhappy with it then there needs to be a change. My husband and I have been married almost 6 years and have sex probably twice a week. It suits us great but wouldn’t be for everyone! Just have an honest and open chat to your husband and see if he feels the same way and think of ways to increase the amount of sex you have 😊

My husbands sex drive is way higher than mine but once we started living together, we started having less sex. He’s like you, like he doesn’t mind not having sex everyday anymore. We usually have sex on the weekends 🤷🏼‍♀️ Idk it works for us and is normal.
