Can a nurse/doctor offer me their opinion?

I went to the gyno two weeks ago for extremely heavy periods all of a sudden and overall worsened period symptoms. I thought I had PCOS when I went, but my new gyno wanted to test that diagnosis that was given to me by my old gyno. The results showed everything was normal except I have elevated insulin and prolactin. My testosterone is normal, which I guess goes against the PCOS thing. My gyno is sending me to an endocrinologist because she thinks theres something wrong with my pituitary gland. Do y’all have any clue what the problem could be?
