"We need to get you out and about"...

"All you do is stay in your room with the baby."

- Fiancé's/my guy friend.

Like, thanks for TRYING to be "supportive",

but:

One: I'm EBF my child, having to put on a cover and whip my boob out in public is not exactly my favorite thing (baby is still cluster feeding to get production up).

Two: my child is only a month old.

Three: I'm healing from open abdominal surgery (cesarean), I don't want to f'ing go out.

Four: getting me and my child ready is a hassle and a half, considering as soon as I'm ready she needs to eat and a diaper change again (even though I just did both before getting myself ready).

Five: I'm lucky if I get to have a shower, fold my laundry, and tidy my room, if I have free time I'm doing those things, in that order, by the time I'm done trust I'll have to feed or change the baby- again.

Six: you are a male (sex), you have no f'ing clue what I went through, and never will, so don't try to make me feel like I'm not doing enough, I'll go out on my own time, when I feel ready.
