Question: Is Homosexuality held as being worse than Sexual Abuse in the eyes of religion?

I started to wonder why Religious Institutions will openly condemn and discriminate against LGBT+ people within their circles, yet thousands of child sexual abuse cases get covered up every year by Religious Institutions.
