Can I wear my engagement ring in the shower?

So I just got engaged. Yay! 😀 but I dont know if I can wear it in the shower or not

You can wear it wherever you want but I wouldn't want to, I take mine off for the shower and gym lol. I'm newly engaged so I don't want soap getting in it or bending it at the gym. I'm paranoid so I'm careful with it. I'm sure after a while I'll get used to it and never take it off lol but right now I'm extra careful with it

You should take them off. The soap can get that filmy layer on the diamonds so they don't look as pretty.

I always leave mine on. I didn't at first but had a couple close calls losing it or forgetting it at home! Lol it can be cleaned!

Soap can break down any glue or resin that holds the smaller diamonds in the bands. If it's a solitaire you should be fine but any smaller gems could be problematic and it ruins the shine so they need to be cleaned more.
