17-year old aspiring artist

I wanna be a tattoo artist, I’m even moving to california because some of my favorite tattoo artists are there and the industry and vibe there is chill and lit or whatever. I’m struggling with drawing/sketching like never before. I’m great I guess I’m having writers block? Tips on how to get back into it full time?? My depression and anxiety are also probably a factor.

Also, can I be an apprentice at 17? Do I have to be really good at drawing with a full blown portfolio to be? Should I wait and get a better portfolio and turn 18 and even get to Cali?
