Has any body had any luck with metformin?

So I’m going to the doctor tomorrow for a follow up from my blood work and I have pcos I’ve read a lot about metformin and I’m hoping that’s what she will prescribe me. Has anybody had any luck conceiving and losing weight on it?

I conceived my 3rd month on it and went from 215 to 196

I was on metformin when I convinced, I have PCOS and tried to convince for a year, it wasn’t long after I started metformin that I got pregnant.
