Amoxicillian while pregnant?

Hey ladies today I'm 7 weeks pregnant praise God!!  I went to the doctor because of white bumps on my throat and I have strep she gave me 500mg three times a day of amoxicillian. Has anyone take it in their first trimester. I'm paranoid

Your doctor wouldn't give you something that wasn't safe

Strep can turn dangerous without abx. It can infect your heart. It's called rheumatic fever. Take the abx

I was taking 500mg around my 13th week for a uti...I'm 17 weeks now and everything is going good. You can go to babymed.com and look up safe antibiotics during pregnancy and it gives you a list if that's helpful...

Just finished my script up today for this terrible sore throat/ head cold thing ! I work with the Dr who gave me the meds! He said they were safe and so did my ob! So take and feel better soon!!

I know I'm just very paranoid I don't want to take anything to harm my baby. I'm afraid if I dont take it the infection will take over my body and potentially harm my baby so I'm gonna take it I just pray God will keep my baby safe
