Ovulation pains?

Wondering if you can feel ovulation pains? It’s on my lower left side for a couple days now, it comes & goes. I’ve been taking opks but I don’t think I’m using them right. Such as not taking them at the same time everyday, drinking water excessively (I love water), etc. could It be that the OPKs aren’t picking up my surge because of that & im actually ovulating? I’m on CD 13.
