afraid of the flu?!

anyone super afraid of getting the flu?? did your doctor's tell you anything you can do to help prevent it. I'm a kindergarten teacher and I'm so paranoid!! I got the flu shot but don't know what else I could take. emergen - c is probably out of the question.

I work in the ER and I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant. I did get my flu shot, just like I do every year, and normally get the flu every year but so far I have not. I have been eating so many oranges it’s not funny. I can easily go they 10lbs in a week. Just careful, too much Vit C can give you diarrhea. I hand sanitizer like crazy, wash them when I can. Don’t let people try to hug or touch me (bc people think my bump is free range).

Wash hands,don't touch face, wash hands some more. Avoid crowded areas.

I take a small amount of elderberry syrup and use hand sanitizer/wash hands a lot. I've gotten emails from my son's kindergarten and my other son's preschool that flu is going around big time. ...really sucks.
