Advice to get my Little one to take a bottle?!! Help

My daughter is almost 12 weeks. I’ve been trying for awhile now to get her to take a bottle or expressed breast milk. I’ve tried different bottles other people have tried. I exclusively BF my second daughter for a whole year because she refused a bottle. I’m able to pump and store plenty of milk but it’s just a waste if she won’t take a bottle. Any suggestions ANYTHING would be appreciated!

Same situation... no advice. We decided to take ‘a break’ from the bottle... as a FTM I did not expect my daughter to have such an aversion to bottles. I was focus so much on getting the hang of breastfeeding and then not being dependent on the nipple shield, this was kinda out of left field. We’ll attempt the bottle again in a few weeks.

We went through the exact same thing until two days ago. My husband found MAM bottles. The nipple is flattened out and our son latched on right away. He turned 12 Weeks Today and I think this was the six bottle we tried! If you haven’t tried this brand it might be worth a shot. They’re cheap too! Good luck! I hope you find a bottle for your little one soon :)

We are going through the same thing with my son, he's 12 weeks today. We just started feeding him in his high chair once a day and the first day he drank 1 oz, 2nd day 3 oz, 3rd day 2 oz. So far this is the only way he's successfully taken a bottle and at this point for us 1 oz from the bottle without screaming is a win.

Let them play with the bottle nipple. Let them get used to chewing on it, having it in their mouth. Take it off the bottle. Then try again. Or use a syringe (medical grade kind) and fill it with Breastmilk and feed that way just so they get used to having milk come out differently then try it with the bottle. Sometimes they get so stuck on milk coming from a boob that won’t have it any other way. With the syringe they don’t have to suck. Just squirt little at a time and do that for a while then move to bottle. Hope it helps. Good luck
