Are your making it public? ⁉️

Question

So i was wondering if im the only one that feels nobody needs to know if I am expecting/pregnant or not besides my immediate family? I see baby announcement and I think it’s cute but I feel like announcing to everyone on Facebook is unnecessary. Of course i am aware everyone feels differently and a few mommies here announce cause they have families on facebook that are far away or are just to excited to keep pregnancy a secret. I understand there’s million reasons why some announce and im not hating. 
I just feel like I won’t even though the idea sounds nice. I don’t think it’s their business. 🤔 it might be that some ppl on my list don’t deserve to know something this special.
Am I the only one who feels like this? I feel bad sometimes I feel a bit salty at times. What do you think?

My question is why would you have anyone on your Facebook that “ doesn’t deserve to see something this special”sounds lie you need to do some serious cleaning up.

I have seen too many friends/family sadly have stillborns or lose the baby and then have to announce that as well. Thar alone made me not want to...

We didn’t tell anyone about our pregnancy. Made it to about 8 weeks going through a miscarriage. Honestly I’m relieved we didn’t tell anyone. I get to tell the people I know will be supportive to me, but don’t have to deal with talking to anyone else about it. 
I’d be happy to Kylie Jenner through any future pregnancies. I don’t have Facebook and I only use Instagram for my photography business. I guess I’m just a more private person in general...No one needs to know what’s going on in my life, especially some rando person I knew in middle school lol

I texted the people I wanted to know. That was it. No Facebook announcement.  I wasn't trying to hide it so eventually there were pictures of me pregnant on Facebook but never the "look at me I'm pregnant post."

I didn’t want to put anything on Facebook but hubby did for family that are overseas 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just went with what he wanted but we didn’t put anything up until we were 17 weeks along.

everyone is different. I had a few friends  on Facebook announce days before they were due, or after they had the child. 
most of my extended family is on Facebook, so I was excited to share because word got out we had been trying for a year.

I haven't announced to people other than family (not even all of them know) and close friends. we live in a very small town here so some people who I didn't tell still found out. Not a huge deal. but I didnt announce my first pregnancy, and haven't announced this one on social media (other than here I suppose) I have friends who have been trying for a long time, friends who have miscarried. I did t want to feel at all like I was rubbing it their face. but I think it will be fun to be like SURPRISE!! WERE NOT PREGNANT WE HAVE A BABY. plus we aren't finding out girl or boy toll baby is due (same with 1st pregnancy) and I HATED everyone always saying how inconvenient it was not knowing. and I should just find out, or have the Drwrite it and give it to them. but I agree everyone is different. I like the privacy of the whole world not knowing at the click of a button

I told my husband this! I have people on my fb from high school, nursing school, job, and relatives I don’t really talk to. Like I just didn’t think it was necessary to announce to the world that we were expecting, like it could just come out on its own the old fashioned way.
