Valentine's Day card

I bought a card because I absolutely fell in love with what it says. It was the first one I picked up and it was amazing. If almost made my mom cry when I showed her. Anyway, I bought it but don't like the design. It was $7 so I feel that I more than paid whoever wrote it. Would it be a bad if I wrote down what it says in a more plain card? I don't want to do anything bad or not but I just want something written in the card as well and theres no room to write it. So I could put quotes or separate what the card said and what I say. Would that be bad though??
