is this a good gift?

I went out and got my boyfriend a cute valentines day gift. I told him I don't want anything because I'm spoiled enough and I'm fine with what i have. I told him that what I get him will be cute and he has to take care of it. but idk if this is a good gift... I wrote on the bag, I wrote letters, bought him a mug filled with candy, a book I gave to him 3 years ago when we were best friends and another book to keep all his belongings in order. pictures of us I managed to get printed... I spent time thinking if it but idk if it's good... I like to give more than receiving and I like giving and gifting to people I love and care for and he means the world to me...
