I pump and occasionally nurse my little guy. But he is always soooo gassy. He screams out after he’s done eating u til he cries himself to sleep. I give him gas drops and gripe water. I pump his legs and roll them into his tummy. I burp him after every ounce when he’s bottle fed. I’ve tried the elbow to the opposite leg movements. Nothing works to get his gas to cam down. And it’s sad because I can hear his stomach churning and bubbling. He’s constantly farting and his belly stays tight. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried accommodate my diet to help but nothing is working. Any other ideas how to fix this. He’s miserable. He will be one month old on Saturday. Do I need to take him to the pediatrician and see if he has an allergy? Any advice would be great.

Update: so we switched to the Dr Browns bottles and those helped a good bit but he was still very fussy. We went to the pediatrician and she confirmed that it was reflux. She put him on Zantac and has me adding rice cereal to his breastmilk bottles. He is like a completely different baby! He seems so happy and content almost all the time now! He rarely spits up and I’ve only had to give him gas drops once since we made the change. Happy baby means a happy momma!
