Does anyone has experience with the red cross messaging system?

My husband is out of state for training ( nothing important. .) And I was the last week twice in the ER because of my bad hyperesemis :/ the ER doctor wrote a letter that it would be recommended if my husband comes home the next 2-3 days max because I need someone here but my husband's boss said all that counts is a red cross message...

If anyone has experience with that please share it :)
