Hormonal acne

Since going off the birth control pill I have been breaking out right before my period and then again before ovulation every freaking cycle... some cystic type pimples that take forever to go away, but mostly smaller ones that just keep popping up on my face and neck :(. I’m doing all the right things but nothing seems to help at all. Does anyone have suggestions or some magic solution that worked?? Please share!
