There’s no way I could be pregnant... right?!
This is long and I’m sorry but I didn’t want to leave anything out! Ok first off, I have two children already and have been down this pregnancy road! I had my first child at 25 and second at 29 so not like i was terribly young and naive. That being said, I feel like I am losing my mind a little and would like some opinions!
So here we go... I do not take birth control, my husband uses the pull out method as we are not trying but not wholeheartedly preventing either (obviously 😄). My cycles are very regular, every 29-30 days like clockwork and last 4-5 days.
Now, about a week to two before my cycle was to start I noticed my breasts were very tender and my nipples hurt anytime clothing or anything brushed against them. I understand this can be a sign of ovulation but not typical for me. My cycle was to start on 2/10, however, it started on 2/5, without my usual precycle warnings (once you have enough cycles in your life you tend to figure out your particular tell tale signs!) which immediately took me by surprise. 🤔😮 It lasted 4 days per usual and I would say was fairly normal/ typical flow for me. Immediately following my cycle ending I got sick with what i think is a flu virus. 🤢🤒😷 (vomiting, aches, fever, sweats)
Fast forward to today (2/13) and my husband asks, “Are you pregnant?!” 😳😳😳 First of all, he knew with both of our other children before I did! He gets tired, hormonal, cravings, all the fun stuff before I do... so weird! So then I start thinking about it and I am having all the same symptoms I did with my first... flu like symptoms (I literally thought I had the flu with my first until my husband said “nah... you’re pregnant”), nausea coming and going throughout the day, food aversion, dizzy, tired, winded/ more labored breathing, brain fog, sore breasts/ twinges, etc.
So long freakin’ story short 😋... sore nipples/ breasts, my cycle came 5 days early, I got the “flu” at the end of my cycle, still having nausea off and on all day, food aversion, dizzy, tired, winded/ labored breathing, brain fog, sore/ twinging breasts... Is there a possibility I could be pregnant even though I just had a period or am I just getting over this virus still?! 🤔🤷♀️
I do plan on taking a test... I am more trying to calm my delusional thoughts before they drive me mad!
