Have I missed the boat?

Hub and I Baby danced sat and sun, but he’s now away and not back for a week. ovulation test is positive today. I guess that means I could ovulate within 12-36 hours?
My question is - is it possible there’s still sperm in there that’s alive and could meet the egg?!
